Shock?
I feel very confused. I can't remember half of the week that just passed.
Yesterday, during our evening walk, I found this.
Nothing to lighten up my mood, but I thought it was kind of cool/creepy looking. I think I might put it in a frame or something.

This made me laugh talking about NY Gun laws. Someone said this on ARFCOM
"It's also illegal to install a swimming pool without a motion detector that will pick up objects the size of small children, attached to an audible alarm.
I found this out today at the pool store. Good thing I have a PREBAN POOL."

After somehow losing 3 full pages of a letter I've been writing to my grandparents (took me about 1 1/2 hrs as it includes pictures and a lot of technical stuff I'm doing at the lab) I decided that today is not my day.
First of all, my body started complaining in the first minute of my run, then while biking my legs just give in completely it seems. Late at the lab as we were waiting at the post office for our mail that apparently has stopped being delivered to the house (blame person we sublet from), and to top everything off our Western Blot (wiki) failed so we'll have to start the process from scratch - that means we have to re-collect the brain tissue, even.
Not only will this take two weeks, it is also a waste of tissue, equipment, antibodies, time, patience... etc.
Boooo.
Good thing there's Ben & Jerry's in the freezer...
